With an attendance of 40 persons approx, the participation of the choir “Southern Alliance” and the exposure of the Pastor and Sociologist Christian Hoffman;  on Saturday, 21 November  was conducted the workshop “Skills for better family life”.

So we close the cycle of our educational workshops with a Cristian focus for this year. In this workshops we can exchange views and  know a little more about our contacts.

 

True friends of Jesus…

Once again LHM with our JOEL Project, accompany the closing of this cycle where they worked with children in the Biblical school on  Evangelical Lutheran Church “San Pablo”.
We enjoy a beautiful afternoon, in which we played, learned a lesson from God and more.
We shared a delicious snack and we said goodbye with beautiful music performed by 2 children from the schoolhouse, who play two songs on the guitar.
Each child who participated took a certificate which said that he or she is a true friend of Jesus.

Celebration in Heaven!

On October 24, we visited for the third time the church ” Desired City”.

We participate this time to give closing  to the Biblical School.

We sang, danced, played and then we give each child who participate in this instance, a certificate.

Hearts touched…

Miguel Angel Cardozo is 53 years old and father of 7 children. He is a Christian with desire to grow further in his faith. He also has a great love for God and for others who do not know Jesus Christ.

He receives our materials, wich use to evangelism and also shared with his brothers and sister in faith.

He is doing our correspondence course called “Towards a new life”. This course has six books, Miguel Angel is on the fifth book.

We receive almost monthly a letter from Miguel telling us experience with our materials and also to make questions.

We see in him, fertile ground where we planted the seed of the Gospel, that has not only grown but is already paying off!!

God continue to bless him and his family!!.

Mr Nilo´s Visit to Uruguay…

Our new CPTLN/LHM boss to Latin America, Nilo Figur visit us during the month of September to share experiences, advice and spend good times together.

1000 friends on Facebook!!!

In the month of September we celebrate the 1000 Facebook friends, Network of friends that we use to share the parental love of our God to all the people.

We also use this network to make known CPTLN/LHM work, promote our materials, projects, events, display photos and so much more!!.

In addition we have an average of 20 people who weekly view our profile and comment on things that we published.

Graciela is a working and very enthusiastic for life women, but she have faced some issues that have weakened her over the years, some of them are losing contact with his daughter for reasons beyond her.

Beyond every problem, she is a woman of faith, that is interest in knowing more about God and being able to serve him in thanks for the blessings that he give to her life. In a few occasions , walking around the city, Graciela sees her facing to some phrases that move her heart, those phrases are written on the street and in posters; some of them says: “¡God bless you!” and “¡Jesus is alive!”. This is how she came to our office of CPTLN/LHM, and thanks to the friendship that we have formed we are in the process of accompanying Graciela to find a church where she can grow in their faith. It´s very important, beyond the situation or problem that we are living, we must ask God to act, we must trust and hope in Him.

On August 8 we participate in an event organized by the pastors of  “Playa Pascual” and other pastors from nearby neighborhoods. 450 children attended to this event.

Volunteer of the month…

In August we had the participation of Viviana in the workshop/tea organized for women called “Women celebrating life with all his being”.

Viviana De Lucca is a social psycologist from Argentina but lives here in Uruguay.

In addition she is also a teacher and  sexologist who shared her knowledge both from a medical perspective as biblical.

On Saturday 22 August CPTLN/LHM organized a tea/workshop for women.

Approximatly 65 women participated, who dare to ask…

We enjoy a tea, coffe and some others delights…cuold not miss the cake!!.

We share a time together, play games, we met a bit more and inform us of issues that were of great interest to all.
